Minimum hardware and operating system requirements for client computers connecting to Containerchain RDS applications and websites.

Windows 10 Hardware Requirements
It is recommended to run Windows 10 on hardware that meets Windows 10 certification.

| Hard disk space | Operating System: 16 GB for 32-bit OS or 20 GB for 64-bit OS Plus additional space as required for applications and data. A minimum of 256Gb is recommended. |

Windows 11 Hardware Requirements
Note the addition of UEFI secure boot and TPM module requirements. It is recommended to run Windows 11 on hardware that meets Windows 11 certification.

Minimum Display Resolution
Minimum display resolution as required by each Containerchain website or remote desktop application. In most cases these are higher than the minimum stated for the operating system.

Network connection guidelines for Desktop Web and RDS access
These are guidelines only, since actual requirements are difficult to exactly determine, and availability can vary depending on location and number of devices connecting though each link.
Applicable to:
- Client computers connecting to TMS 1.0, CDMS 1.0 etc. RDP applications
- Web clients connecting to our web services such as Live (Notifications, Trip-TMS)
- Desktop computers, and mobile devices connecting to these services
Minimum requirement
Any fixed, Wi-Fi or Mobile/cellular connection that has a bandwidth of at least 20 Mb/s download and upload for a single computer.
Calculating for multiple computers or devices
As more computers and/or mobile devices are added, a faster connection will be required, but this is not simply calculated by multiplying the above 20Mb/s by the number of computers. This would result in significantly over-specifying the requirements for the link.
For a site up to 10 computers a link of approximately 100MB/s should be sufficient. Beyond this it is recommended to engage the assistance of your internet provider or a networking expert to design appropriate infrastructure.
Mobile Devices
Minimum hardware and operating system requirements for mobile devices running Containerchain mobile software.

Any device that will run the applicable Android or iOS version.

Network connection guidelines for mobile access
These are guidelines only, since actual requirements are difficult to exactly determine, and availability can vary depending on location.
Applicable to:
- Mobile devices running Containerchain mobile applications.
Minimum Requirement
A mobile/cellular network connection that supports the 4G protocol, or any Wi-Fi or fixed connection that meets the requirements for Desktop Web and RDS access as stated above.
